Unable to write Configuration.xml file in folder installation !

Behavior:

After configuring EdenSoftware products, and validated by « SAVE button », the similar error message appears:

Problem description:

This problem is relation with software installation folder right

The systems authorizations are not set correctly.

Impacted product:

• Microsoft Windows Vista (All Versions)
• Microsoft Windows 7 (All Versions)

Solution:

Two solutions:

Add the rights « Full Control » on products installation folder

How to:

1. Rigt clic on the folder
2. Properties
3. Security
4. Select your account, then give full control on the folder

Disable UAC (User Acces Control) for your account.

Microsoft Windows Vista

1. Goto « Control panel »
2. Clic on « Accounts and Users protection »
3. Clic on « Users accounts »
4. Select your account
5. Clic on « Activate or desactivate the control of the user accounts »
6. Uncheck « use the account control to protect my computer »
7. Click on « OK »

You must restart your computer to take effect this change.

Microsoft Windows 7

1. Goto « Control panel »
2. Clic on « Accounts and Users protection »
3. Clic on « Users accounts »
4. Select your account
5. Clic on « Change the parameters for accounts users control »
6. Go down the trackbar

No restart is required
